me know it's kinda boring and mainstream, but my poison pasta is the plain spaghetti bolognese.. slluuurrpppss..

Pickyin: Me too, but do you realise how hard it is to get really good bolognaise? Everyone seems to think that pasta should be improvised on, which kills the beauty of the humble bolognaise.

the best way is to do it yourself.. right down to mincing the red meat and cubing the veges. curio's tomato pasta sauce is good (me like the one with olives), just add canned tomatoes separately.

i think secret recipe's is not bad though.

I BEG to differ! Secret Recipe's spaghetti bolognese is disgusting!! Tasted and looked terrible! It was bastardized! At least in Seri Petaling. It's terrible! The best I had so far was in Eastin (Don't ask me why I ordered it there). One of the WORST improvisations to the dish was had at La Manila, Tmn SEA - the cook melted American cheese slices on top. Esthetically-pleasing but mind-boggling! Also the worst thing you can have as a side dish beside your s.bolo. is the famous trio - frozen peas, carrots and corn -I HATE THEM! (cos they're a damn lazy effort at a salad)

Give me a nice, creamy fettucine carbonara, and I will work for you. Graciously, I might add.
