Don't you feel sometimes that it's better that you DON'T know, that you'd lead a happier life if no one told you anything, or if your mind were incapable of understanding the intricacies of the world around you?
Don't you sometimes feel that you SHOULDN'T have the ability to connect the dots and form a picture? That are there just some things that are better left to run their course without involving you? That you could do without the knowledge of the bigger picture?
Don't you sometimes feel that it's better to be a simpleton, that one would rather know too little than too much?

Life is not meant to be easy. Even animal and any other being that are not given the benifit of larger neocortical brain (thus Akal) are struggling to live. Their inability to adapt or inability to hone skill needed for them to life is the different between living and dying.
We are simply created not to be ignorant. Well, you can be one if u wish to, but with prices to pay. Of course some investment on not being ignorant is sometime overwhelmingly pricey, we must remember though, we'll be paid handsomely too!
Anyway, for me it's normal for healthy person to feel that they want to be ignorant. At least it's a sign that they are not ignorant!

How do we know that we only know "little"? What will be comparing to?

one can be as foolish and ignorant, so the earthquake and volcano eruption beside him wont affect him at all ?
definately too much to worry about is not going to make one happy ya.
