Back from INFOSOC

We (Aiz, Zarique, Halena and myself) left Melaka after the morning sessions on Open Source, Cybergames and Sports. The girls had a load of that OAG fella. Pictures to follow.

The rain followed us from Melaka to KL, but we all got home safe and sound. I have to digest more of what happened over the last couple of days, at least take a nap (an extension of the nap I barely got in Aiz's car), eat and sort out laundry.

In the meanwhile, I hope Aiz and Dinesh sort out their new-found fame and continue to not disappoint their adooorrring fans!

Too bad this is the last INFOSOC as NITC will become something else. Overall, the group was great. The PROMUDA Team consisted of (in no particular order): Johan, Jikon, Zarique, Daniel, Yoke Lin, Nazrin, Andre, Fahmy, Hazarizal, Rizal Kahar, Bun, Sharizal, Halena, Yanti, (did I leave anyone out?). All the coffee (the good and the bad), teh tarik, threatening SMSes from Johan all paid off. P.S. Johan wants to post the mortem next week. Maybe, if I'm feeling generous, I will put the honorarium to good use...

It was indeed a pleasant ride home with Aiz today, sent Halena as soon as I got my keys. She is safe and sound in Keramat.

I am still fretting over my fried up automatic gearbox of my V6 stuck in the workshop. I will not forget the marry mishaps I had since I left for Melaka.

The car was released from the workshop in supposedly A OK condition 2 hours before I left for Melaka last week. Once i reached the state border, white gas fumes came out from the back and the car switched on and off on its on, i persevered and luckily got to the Equatorial.

It served me, Puteri, and the K dot force crew great that night.

Several hours later, the mechanic from KL arrived at the scene and the car didnt budge, it just could engage in reverse.

So there I was guiding him in reverse out of the parking bay at the hotel onto the main road. Decided to tow it back to KL the next day!

This was the same day you guys arrived from KL!

All in all, an unforgettable experience indeed.

Seeya at the Post Mortem.

No wonder you mentioned to be careful at the border.

Anyway, was quite surprised that there was no question at the Open Source session.
