France-Malaysia Bilateral Relations

I attended a PROMUDA dinner at the French Embassy last Wednesday night. It's no big secret that our PM and Chirac have a good relationship. However, no one bothered to explain to me why this is so. Jerome, as usual, was full of opinions. He theorised that this is due to the fact that our PM has a half-French grandson, (Marina married a French guy). Does this mean that inter-racial marriages is the answer to world peace?

Side note: Today, Sharizal and I had Jerome's tarte chocolat and a piece of royale. Brought home 2 pieces of the lemon tart. Yummy!

Free plug for good cakes, coffee and company: Chef Jerome can be found at B-0-8 Megan Phileo Avenue, 12 Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.

If men had vaginas
We'd take 'em to shiners
     And buff them
     And polish them
Like 50s Porsche Roadsters.

Jerome definitely has some of the best pastries around. His chocolate tart is absolutely divine. The royale isn't bad either. And the amer is beyond words...

Re: Chirac-Mahathir friendship- Might it be their mutual stance vis-a-vis America-Little Bush and the War against Iraq? Perhaps they're operating according to that wise mafia adage- 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'?

Am being purely selfish.

Where's the pic of me and - oh yeah - that guy who fell asleep during the speech.
