We had our internal user conference yesterday in Awana Kijal near Kerteh, Terengganu. Overall, it was a fruitful session, it's always good to keep in touch with the people you're working for. The theme was on "Business Resilience through the use of ICT". There was a good exchange between participants on how they've 'creatively' used IT to make their business run better, although there were enough presentations that were thinly disguised product sales pitches. Everytime I go to Terengganu, it never ceases to amaze me at how beautiful it is. Except for those ugly tanker lorries that love to overtake Kancils on two lane roads. Hopefully, there will be less of them when the railroad between Kuantan and Kerteh is finished. At least I can plan to be back for a holiday without worrying about all the heavy vehicle traffic. Came back with keropok lekor and sweet chilli sauce made in the Terengganu way.
