Oops! I actually have a mood indicator for that...
Anyway, I still can't be bothered to think up of a suitable title for my after Toastmasters high. I've only gone twice. Last night was the second time. Actually getting to the session was difficult, almost as bad as getting myself to go to the gym. I decided to leave things to fate last night, and fate made me bump into Jack. He was so nice, I just had to go. So was Zarina.
Last night's table topic session was a post-war scenario in Iraq, with all of us as various ministers. I got agriculture. Since I know nothing much about agriculture, or Iraq's geography (is it dry? :P), I pretty much bs-ed my way through and spent my energy lobbying other ministers and the President for a better post (come to think of it, do politicians do that when they don't know what they're doing?).
Overall, it was great. There were really good speakers, some motivational, some hilarious, and some - simply eye-opening. I met the 'Minister of Foreign Affairs', a Mr Faren, who, despite his insightful thoughts on how history can repeat itself in a good way for Baghdad, is actually a 2nd-year accounting student (sorry Faren, still can't believe it...). Now I just have to get over the lack of sleep and drudgery of Microsoft Project training.
